Abbie Fish, the founder of Swim Like A. Fish, has managed and worked at multiple aquatics facilities. Being CPO certified and understanding the in’s and out’s of needing to keep a facility safe, Fish said PHTA has been a great aquatics resource to collaborate with. Below, she shares the details of their partnership:
Campus Rec: Why did you decide to partner with PHTA — what problem were you looking to solve or what solution were you looking to incorporate?
CR: How has PHTA helped enhance your aquatics offerings?
AF: PHTA has given us a platform to speak on at the World Aquatic Health Conference in October, which is a huge opportunity for Swim Like A. Fish. At this conference, we will discuss how swim coaches can use something as simple as their cellphones to improve their swimmer’s performances. We are excited to see who in the audience is interested in this topic, as technology in the aquatics world is growing at a rapid rate.
CR: How does PHTA benefit your aquatics team?
AF: PHTA is a great aquatics resource for any facility. They provide Certified Pool and Spa Operator classes and education, along with philanthropic opportunities, conferences, trade shows and other events. Overall, PHTA helps keep each aquatics facility safe and provides the education required to do so.
CR: How would you rate PHTA’s customer service and support?
AF: I’ve really enjoyed working with PHTA as they’ve been super responsive and easy to work with. If I have a question, I get it answered quickly and it’s been a very good working relationship between the two of us. I’m excited to see how our relationship builds out over the next few years.
