MISSION
Campus Recreation enriches the educational experience by providing opportunities that focus on the development of lifelong wellness skills for students, faculty and staff. They provide diverse programs, services and facilities, which provide opportunities for physical activity and contribute to learning in safe, challenging and supportive environments.
FACILITIES
Approximately 3,000 students a day visit the University of South Florida’s 180,000 square foot Campus Recreation Center to work out and socialize. Spanning over 28,000 square feet, the recreation centers offers space for any sort of activity. Members can enjoy two gyms, fitness space, seven group fitness studios, six racquetball courts and an indoor pool.
PROGRAMMING
Patrons can choose from a wide variety of fitness options including group fitness classes, personal training, small group training and an exercise library. If students prefer to get outdoors, the USF Outdoor Recreation program offers numerous options such as adventure trips that include hiking, camping, snorkeling, caving, canoeing and much more. As for intramural and club sports, students can choose from over 30 different sports and activities during the fall, spring and summer semesters.
