Programming Highlights

Aquatics

The Eagle Fitness and Wellness Pool is a space to lounge in and out of the pool, with plenty of room for multiple activities. A climate-controlled pool allows the facility to be open for pool and pool deck use year-round.

With seating all around the pool deck, grassy areas and a large turf section, you’re sure to find a space that fits your needs. The pool deck hosts two ping pong tables and a TEQBALL table for recreational use.

The pool includes a 38-foot by 75-foot lap swimming area with five lap lanes available at one time. The leisure side of the pool features a water basketball hoop and a water volleyball net available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The pool also has a zero-entry space, followed by depths ranging from 3 feet to 15 feet 6 inches.

Outdoor Adventures

Outdoor Adventures strives to enable student engagement with the natural world to help facilitate critical components of life —  such as mental restoration, enhanced self-efficacy, positive interpersonal relationships and environmental awareness. The two programs central to the efforts of Outdoor Adventures include Outsiders and The Wall.

Outsiders is the No. 1 way to experience the outdoors as an ERAU student. The variety of affordable day and overnight excursions take you throughout Florida and the southeast to explore the natural world. Offerings are created to be new and enriching experiences for students, with a schedule of trips, clinics and events that vary from semester to semester. Some typical activities include paddleboarding, kayaking, mountain biking, goat yoga, hiking and camping.

The Wall includes a 36-foot tower with eight auto-belays, eight belay stations and over 25 routes of varying difficulties. The bouldering area features 54 feet of linear climbing space and over 20 fun and challenging boulder problems. All are open to climbers of all levels with no registration or gear required.

Additionally, special events such as challenges, clinics and competitions are common at the facility with offerings aimed at developing climbing technique and belay proficiency. No matter the background or preferred activity, Outdoor Adventures has something for every student at ERAU.

Personal Training

Regardless of your age or fitness level, working with a personal trainer can have a positive effect on your life. When you request training with one of our fitness coaches, you can expect a free consultation to discuss goals and outcome expectations. You will also receive a custom plan created just for you based on your goals and abilities.

Our goal is to educate clients on how to exercise safely while achieving results. Coaches provide guidance, education and motivation to help patrons along their fitness journey. All progress will be monitored to help provide resources in hopes that members can be successful and confident in the gym even without a personal trainer.
