Earlier this month, Heather Hartmann, the director of Events at Peake Media and the editor of Campus Rec Magazine, embarked on the journey few can claim they’ve completed: reaching Mount Everest Base Camp. In this video, she chats with Rachel Chonko, the editor-in-chief at Peake Media, about the journey. From the many months of preparation to the actual climb and descent, she recalls the highs and lows of the journey.

Hartmann also shares on what the expedition has taught her about grit, dedication and venturing outside your comfort zone.
