It takes years to plan, design, and construct or renovate collegiate recreation centers. During that time, a lot can change. Your campus recreation programming likely evolved to accommodate a changing student body. Fitness spaces must adapt to accommodate new and unplanned needs. While weights, exercise equipment and layouts may change, flooring is one constant — especially rubber flooring.

Everyone interacts with your athletic surface, from the student to the campus employee to the community member. Choosing the right flooring can have a powerful effect on the overall success of your facility. High-quality rubber flooring provides an incredible performance experience and a flexible solution that can remain in place with new trends in workout training programs.

Just as important as the function and flexibility, campus recreation facilities must remain visually impressive and adapt to modern style. From elegant design to custom branding, the facility’s flooring screams the organization’s identity. When key decision-makers, donors, prospective students, etc., look at the facility, they need to know who you are and feel connected. A custom-designed rubber floor with an organization’s logo can build pride for everyone who steps foot in the facility.

Concrete and steel beams may be a building’s foundation, but a student recreation center is supported by flexible, durable, sustainable and visually stunning flooring. If you get the rubber flooring right, everything else is interchangeable.
