Technogym, a world-leading company supplying products, services and solutions in wellness and fitness, announced a partnership with the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS), which is designed to collaborate on ways to prevent and treat injuries of professional baseball players.
As the world leader in the design of fitness equipment for fitness facilities, hotels, spas, rehabilitation centers, corporate gyms, universities, professional sports facilities and private homes, Technogym is in a good position to team up with PBATS to address and meet the needs of athletes.
The partnership will include efforts around tailored solutions for proper training techniques, which will have beneficial effects for preventing training-related injury. In addition, Technogym and PBATS will work together on rehabilitation solutions and education around the most innovative training and rehab processes. For this partnership, Technogym will highlight key equipment lines that are geared towards functional training, rehabilitation, and sports medicine, including:
- Kinesis One, which is a standalone station with a 360 degree rotating pulley system that is geared for free movement, stretching and zero-impact exercises
- Top, which focuses on the upper body to tone arms, helps prevent joint problems, and strengthens posture
- FLEXability, a set of equipment that promotes the stretching and lengthening of posterior and anterior muscles
- Inclusive Line, a full line of cardiovascular and muscular training equipment, that can be physically modified for both able bodied and disabled clients to offer a complete workout
With a total commitment to promoting wellness and a better lifestyle through regular physical activity, healthy diet and a positive mental approach, Technogym supplies more than 65,000 wellness centers and 100,000 private homes all over the world.
Established in 1983 by President and Founder Nerio Alessandri, Technogym has grown into a leading company in the wellness and fitness fields with more than 2,200 employees and 14 branches in Europe, U.S., Asia, Middle East and Australia.
PBATS members consistently aim to serve by providing for the continued education of the athletic trainer as it relates to the profession, while also serving as a resource to educate those outside the professional baseball athletic trainer community about the profession and the athletic trainer’s integral position within the sports medicine team – a mission that aligns with the goals and values of the Technogym team.
