College students increasingly desire state-of-the-art equipment and facilities at their campus recreation centers. They want to spend their time at high-quality, clean and beautiful spaces to hang out, exercise or play sports. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, having top-quality flooring from Kiefer USA provides students with the best experience possible and make staff’s lives easier.

“The University of Nebraska-Lincoln continues to purchase from Kiefer USA because our indoor walking/jogging track has proven to be a durable and easy-to-maintain product since its installation,” said Amy Lanham, the director of Campus Recreation. “For our strength training project, we wanted to incorporate similar flooring found in other areas of the Campus Recreation Center.”

Below, Lanham shares insights on working with Kiefer USA, the benefits of having their flooring and more.

How long have you been a user of Kiefer USA?

I believe when the Campus Recreation Center was completed in 1992. Most recently for the renovation of our strength training and conditioning space in October 2014 and just last week for a fitness mat purchase.

How do Kiefer USA’s products benefit students?

The high-caliber track installation is easy to clean and maintain, keeping this amenity in top-condition for our members. The aesthetics are also high-quality, making the space inviting for our users.

Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with Kiefer USA in any way?

Our representative is very attentive to our needs and willing to go the extra step to ensure our questions and needs are addressed.

What else can you tell other rec center professionals about the benefits of working with Kiefer USA?

The process has always been thorough from start to finish. I’ve never felt any of my questions would be left unanswered.
