NIRSA Reflections

As I sit by the pool, basking in the sun, enjoying the 80-degree Orlando weather and reflecting back on the past few days at NIRSA, it is hard not to be thankful. Having only launched Campus Rec Magazine last September, this was my first NIRSA experience. And it did not disappoint.

Being able to meet people we have worked with for months face-to-face, meeting new people, networking and learning, was a truly amazing experience. Plus, getting a little positive feedback never hurt anyone. We brought over 100 issues of Campus Rec Magazine to the show and every single copy is gone. So hopefully, we are achieving our mission of empowering and educating campus and university recreation professionals.

If you stopped by the booth the say hi and pick up a copy of the magazine, thank you. If you didn’t, no worries! You can subscribe to the magazine for free online at campusrecmag.com/print.

As I told many of you who stopped by, we are always looking for story ideas. If there is anything going on at your recreation center that you want to highlight, reach out to me (Emily@peakemedia.com) and we would be more that happy to feature a story on the website or in the magazine.

Again, thank you so much for all of the immense support. See you next year!
