Leadership Summit

The Campus Rec Leadership Summit is moving to August 5-7, 2020.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak and CDC recommendations on group gatherings, as well as university travel bans that are taking place, the Campus Rec Magazine team made the decision to push back the event from June to August.

“While it’s a tough choice to make, we want to keep our team, our attendees and our vendor partners’ safety and health at the forefront,” said Carrie Yeiser, the director of events for Campus Rec and Peake Media. “We evaluated and surveyed our attendees, as well as reviewed the current COVID-19 safety guidelines, in deciding to move the event.”

The event, originally planned for June 17-19, will take place August 5 through August 7 at The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage, California. Attendees will have the chance to network at a world-class resort, problem solve over the hot topics of today, and experience new levels of innovation and idea sharing.

“We are excited to still be able to bring together campus rec professionals and our sponsors for an incredible experience,” said Yeiser. “We have had such positive feedback throughout the years that we want to continue to give the Campus Rec audience another platform to network and problem solve, alongside an experience that wows. We hope moving the dates will allow us to continue to provide the space for industry innovation and forward thinking this year.”
