It’s with great pleasure that Campus Rec Magazine announces Laurie Braden will be the 2022 Leadership Summit moderator.

Braden is the executive director at Louisiana State University and has held the position since 2010. She gained her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida and her master’s at North Carolina State University. Braden was also the 2014-2015 NIRSA president.

“Laurie Braden has been a staple in the industry. We’re excited to welcome her on as moderator of our 2022 Leadership Summit,” said Carrie Yeiser, the senior director of events and marketing at Peake Media. “She has shown us over the years her ability to lead and has revealed her depth of experience in the industry. We are looking forward to her bringing these strengths to facilitating the event.”

The 2022 Summit will take place June 14-16, 2022 at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage in Rancho Mirage, California. A five-star resort overlooking Coachella Valley, The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage offers stunning desert views, as well as a holistic spa and elegant luxury that can’t be matched.

The Summit provides expertise, insights and experiences that will be an invaluable part of your rec center. Fifty campus rec executives alongside limited sponsors will gather for two and a half days of roundtable discussions, networking and fun. Braden will be leading the roundtables at the event that include topics such as staffing strategies, enhancing programming and more.
