Picture this: You’re surrounded by 60 of the top minds in campus recreation, gathered in the stunning alpine setting of Park City, Utah. It’s June, and while others are buried in summer planning, you’re sipping whiskey at a private dinner party, swapping stories with peers who actually get it.

This is not your typical conference. This is the 2025 Campus Rec Leadership Summit, happening June 3-5, 2025.

Every meal, every roundtable, every activity — even the downtime — is a curated opportunity to make real connections with like-minded directors. From morning breakfasts to fireside chats and sponsor socials, you’ll walk away with a phone full of contacts and ideas you didn’t even know you needed.

A steer named Cowboy made a special appearance at the 2024 Summit.
This year’s attendees building real relationships by:
  • Blending Bordeaux in a team challenge (yes, really).
  • Swapping crisis management strategies with peers over fireside chats.
  • Exploring Park City and all it has to offer.
  • And hiking through Deer Valley before whiskey tasting at the Stein Eriksen…

They are also going to tackle the issues that keep directors up at night — from crisis management to staffing, tech in rec, wellness and managing up.

2005 Summit attendees should leave with:
  • Proven strategies to engage higher administration and communicate with influence.
  • Leadership tools to manage team morale during high-stress moments.
  • Tech insights that enhance — not overwhelm — your rec operations.
  • Ideas for scalable wellness initiatives that align with campus goals.
  • Peer-proven frameworks to build resilient, high-performing teams.
Directors present their work at a roundtable during the 2024 Summit.

And of course, the 2025 Summit is only possible because of our these amazing companies: our premier sponsor Matrix Fitness; our diamond sponsors Arly, Brock USA, CannonDesign, Ecore, EGYM, Freemotion Fitness, Fusion, Junckers Hardwood, Keiser, PLAE, Power Plate, SportsArt and Turf Tank; and our platinum sponsors ACE, Aktiv Solutions, Fitness Machine Technicians, Human Touch, InBody, Intek Strength, NGU Sports Lighting, Paddock Pool Equipment Company, REGUPOL, Sasaki, Shaw Sports Turf, Strike Visuals and TinyMobileRobots.

Maybe you couldn’t join us this year, and we get it — life happens. But if you’re a director who values peer connection, actionable insights and space to think bigger — this is your advance notice to save the dates for next year, and email heather@peakemedia.com to get on the waitlist. Location reveal will happen via Facebook Live on June 5, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. MST.

If this is the year you wish you were here, then make next year the one you are.
