Netpulse announced the appointment of Mike Escobedo to the newly created role of SVP Customer Success.

Mike is a veteran of the fitness industry, having previously overseen the customer experience at ABC Financial, a leading payment processing and member management software provider. Mike joined ABC Financial in 2011, where he quickly rose to SVP of client management, responsible for the nearly 200 employees who represent ABC’s customer facing organization. During his tenure, Mike and his team have led several key initiatives, most recently the implementation of ABC’s services to Planet Fitness.

“We are honored to welcome Mike to the Netpulse team,” said Netpulse Co-CEO John Ford. “His experience and passion for providing exceptional customer service enables us to continue to drive innovation in the marketplace. We are growing at an incredible pace, and Mike’s expertise will be mission critical to help us scale.”

At Netpulse, Mike will be instrumental in building out and integrating all customer success functions, while delivering technology solutions that drive success for its customers.

“The team at Netpulse has built something truly unique,” said Escobedo. “Our industry is in the midst of a technology revolution, and Netpulse is at the forefront. I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it.”

Netpulse first encountered Mike through its partnership with ABC Financial.

“We’ve always been impressed with the innovation from Netpulse,” said ABC Financial CEO Paul Schaller. “I’m confident that Mike will continue to do amazing work there. He is the right leader at the right time to build this important part of the fitness industry’s evolution.”

Mike brings several years of executive management experience working directly with Fortune 500 companies, specifically in areas of client support and customer relations. He has held numerous leadership roles in both the private and public sectors. His collegiate studies include Computer Science and Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento.
