Now Hiring! Innovative New Job Opening at ISU

The campus recreation industry is one that is consistently growing and evolving. Over the last decade there have been groundbreaking innovations when it comes to facilities, programs and services. As a result, our departments are continually evolving as well. Recently Iowa State University created a unique new position within the department which they are currently hiring for.

The Associate Director of Recreation Services – Student Services (ADRS-SS) position will complement the mission of both the University and Recreation Services by implementing, maintaining and overseeing programming and services to support student success, which inspires educates and empowers students and members of the ISU community to cultivate lifestyles that enhance health and wellness.

According to the job posting, the ADRS-SS will be responsible for student development, department wide assessment and personnel supervision in support of a quality co-curricular experience while assisting the Director in establishing department-wide strategic goals and objectives.

Michael Giles, Jr., the Director of Recreation Services at ISU said he is very excited about his new position, which he has been working for some years to develop.
