SubItUp
SubItUp is an industry-leading platform for online scheduling management, and it helps an ever-expanding list of clients from different fields work more efficiently. From intramural sports leagues scheduling to staff management and payroll reconciliation, SubItUp’s remarkable versatility and above-and-beyond customer support has positioned the software as an integral workplace asset in higher education, police and fire departments, call centers, retail outlets and many other industries.

Rebecca Carpenter, the assistant athletics director for facilities and operations at Stanford University, shared her experience working with SubItUp.

Campus Rec Magazine: How were you introduced to SubItUp and why did you decide to partner with them?

Rebecca Carpenter: I first heard about SubItUp from a new employee I recently hired. She knew of the company from her previous job and said nothing but great things about this staff scheduling program.

CR: What are the benefits to your recreation center as a result of the partnership?

RC: This program gives the professional staff confidence that shifts are covered, staff are held accountable and the facility maintains a smooth operation.

CR: How does working with SubItUp benefit students?

RC: It’s convenient. Our staff like the easy access to check their schedules on a cellphone and computer and the simplicity of sending a request to drop or pick shifts without using a mass email or text. Another bonus is that it sends a reminder for any upcoming shifts.

CR: Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with SubItUp in any way?

RC: Their customer service is impressive. Their staff is patient, available and feedback is often times implemented.

CR: What else can you tell other recreation professionals about the benefits of working with SubItUp?

RC: It’s a user friendly program that is beneficial to both supervisors and staff with collecting availabilities and scheduling. I don’t know how we ever scheduled without it.
