Unique.

That’s what drew the University of Houston to use Technogym in its Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.

Andrew Jones, the assistant director of fitness, had experience using the company’s equipment in another fitness center. “We decided to move forward with Technogym because of the unique performance oriented capabilities associated with the SKILLMILL and SKILLRUN, such as the ability to train aerobically and anaerobically on the same machine,” said Jones.

It’s been nearly a year since they started partnering with Technogym, and unique isn’t the only word to describe the partnership – excellence and effective have come to dominate the conversation as well. Jones shares what their partnership with the company has looked like and the benefits they’ve seen.

What are the benefits to your rec center as a result of this partnership?

We can offer additional training styles and capabilities, as well as additional programming.

Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with them in any way?

What else can you tell other rec center professionals about the benefits of working with Technogym?

The SKILL LINE is a unique and effective concept, which other brands have not been able to effectively replicate.
