Many of the changes coming to university campuses, especially those regarding campus sustainability goals, will directly impact operations within campus recreation facilities. The good news is there are simple and effective ways to go green that can actually increase student engagement.

And if you have a sustainability office or department, you may need additional resources to help you make the shift without touching your budget.

The director of Recreation and Wellness at the University of South Florida, Jay Souza, and the associate director, Chris Marks, shared their approach to going green, why it is important and how their staff is looking to utilize the efforts to engage with students.

In This Webinar You Will Learn:

  • The importance of sustainability in recreation and why it will matter to you.
  • How to make an impact by utilizing students to go green through fitness.
  • Finding and securing funding for upgrades/changes through campus sustainability initiatives.
