Matrix

Matrix Fitness is the world’s fastest–growing commercial fitness brand. In 2019, Matrix launched the Magnum Glute Trainer, a plate-loaded glute training machine designed with the user’s needs in mind.

Glute training is more popular than ever. The intuitive features of the glute trainer accommodate users of all sizes and ability levels comfortably, while providing features like high maximum resistance and elastic band hooks that challenge even elite athletes.

Matrix’s glute trainer offers a way to not only tone muscles and build power, but also to improve hip and core stability.

“When our industrial designers and product engineers teamed up to create our new glute trainer, the goal was to target the glutes and hamstrings with an exercise just as effective as hip thrusting using a weighted straight bar,” said Chris Adsit, the senior global strength product manager. “After scientifically validated testing procedures, our experts confirmed that the Magnum Glute Trainer more effectively targets the glutes and hamstrings than traditional hip-thrust exercises.”

Aligning with Matrix’s dedication to meaningful innovation, the glute trainer has a heavy focus on efficiency, comfort and stability. The approachable walk-through design makes it easy for anyone to get started, wasting no time during a user’s workout. Comfortable user positioning and efficient machine layout mimic bar hip thrusting without the hassle of unwieldy free weights. Considering the importance of stability during high-intensity sets, the glute trainer features a large, angled foot platform with a non-slip surface.

Matrix added the Glute Trainer to an already diverse product line in their Magnum Strength Series. Like everything from the Magnum Series, the Glute Trainer’s welded design and professional-quality components will stand up to heavy use in the toughest environments.
