Dominique Gummelt, the executive director of the Andreasen Center for Wellness at Andrews University, has recently built a strong partnership with Precor to create a fitness experience with best-in-class products in a new facility on campus. Read what she has to say about the help Precor has been able to provide below:

Campus Rec: How long have you been a Precor customer?

Dominique Gummelt: We are opening our new Andreasen Center for Wellness on the campus of Andrews University on September 30, 2019, and thus, we are new customers of Precor.

CR: How were you introduced to Precor, and why did you decide to work with them?

DG: Having worked in the industry for nearly 20 years, I have come across Precor all over the country and have always thought highly of their products. For our particular project, I was introduced to Amy Enser, from Direct Fitness Solutions, who convinced me without much problem that we should go with Precor for our new facility. She is the best representative I have worked with – fantastic.

CR: What are the benefits to your rec center as a result of this partnership?

DG: As mentioned above, Amy has been amazing in getting us connected with Precor representatives and has made sure that we obtain the best deals with the highest quality product. Furthermore, training is provided and exposure to new products is always coming down the pipelines.

CR: What are the benefits to your members as a result of this partnership?

DG: Our members will have access to top-of-the-line fitness equipment that is aesthetically brilliant and functionally leading the way among its competitors. Members will receive a higher quality fitness experience.

CR: Have you been pleasantly surprised by working with Precor in any way?

DG: Yes, I have been delighted to work with Amy Enser, from Direct Fitness Solutions and Precor representatives I have met during the process. They also assisted us with suggested equipment layout plans, which was incredibly helpful for our planning process.

CR: What else can you tell other rec center professionals about the benefits of working with Precor?

DG: I highly recommend Precor products, and particularly working with Direct Fitness Solutions in obtaining new equipment in the future. They are easy to work with, deliver high quality products and are on time. I am very happy with the service we have received and as we are just now getting ready to open our doors to the new Andreasen Center for Wellness as part of our university-wide wellness initiative ‘MADE TO THRIVE’ on September 30, 2019.
