Virtual Summit

The Campus Rec Leadership Summit is going virtual.

Due to many university travel bans, the Campus Rec Magazine team has made the decision to transition the in-person event to a two-day Virtual Summit on September 15-16, 2020.

“Although we are disappointed to not be able to meet in-person, we are very excited about the opportunities the 2020 Virtual Campus Rec Leadership Summit presents,” said Carrie Yeiser, the senior director of events and marketing for Campus Rec Magazine and Peake Media. “Hosting the event completely online and free to registrants allows us to open up valuable content from roundtable discussions to all campus recreation executives alongside exclusive content from our partners.”

The event will consist of five roundtable topics, plus multiple educational webinars from the sponsors who make the Leadership Summit possible. Roundtable topics include: The Mental Health Crisis, Data/Analytics, Programming: Alternative/Adaptive Recreation, Trending Technology, and The Future: Strategic Planning. The panels will consist of campus rec professionals from across the nation.

“One of the goals of Campus Rec Magazine events is to provide rich and impactful educational opportunities for our partners and attendees,” said Yeiser. “We hope to provide the same level of education with our Virtual Summit as we do at the in-person event. The roundtables will bring together an array of hand-picked campus recreation expert leaders for discussion and idea exchange on a variety of topics that will be on-demand and free following the event dates as well.”

The Virtual Summit is not possible without our partners: Matrix, Club Automation, GameTime, Keiser, Technogym, Aacer Sports Flooring, Dynamic Fitness and Strength, Ecore, Eleiko, Human Touch, NASM, Octane Fitness, S3 Design, Sasaki, TRX and Turf Tank.
