Auburn University’s Recreation and Wellness Center has hit the 10-year mark. Inside you’ll find a 1/3-mile track, climbing towers, informal weight spaces and more.

In this virtual tour of the space, learn about:

  • Auburn University’s Intramural Sports program which provides opportunities for students to participate in a wide range of recreational and competitive sports and activities, and the participations numbers just keep climbing year after year.
  • Its outdoor adventure program that encourages students to explore the great outdoors and develop valuable outdoor skills. The program organizes trips and activities such as hiking, kayaking, camping and rock climbing for Auburn students.
  • Auburn University’s Club Sports program which is designed to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of organized sports and recreational activities outside of varsity athletic programs.

Plus, see the facility’s basketball courts, two multi-activity courts, a resort-style pool and hot tub, and an outdoor equipment rental center and bike shop. The space also includes multiple functional fitness areas, five group fitness studios, and a dedicated personal training and Olympic/powerlifting space.

To learn more about Auburn University’s Recreation and Wellness Center, read the cover story found in the March/April 2024 issue.
