Explore the Palomar Health Student Wellness Center at the University of San Diego

 In the above video, tour the new Palomar Health Student Wellness Center at the University of San Diego (USD). The three-story, 80,000-square-foot facility is paired with 69,000 square feet of outdoor wellness space — all designed to prioritize movement, mindfulness and inclusion. 

The center features:

  • A 10,000-square-foot strength and cardio area with equipment from Matrix, Peloton, Precor, BeaverFit and VersaClimber.
  • Multiuse studios for yoga, dance and martial arts.
  • Basketball courts, a bouldering wall and an outdoor fitness gym.
  • The Torero Gaming and Engagement Lounge, featuring: 
    • Console and PC gaming stations.
    • Board games and tabletop game sets.
    • Programs based on community building and digital wellness.
  • Expansive outdoor turf and aquatics facilities for paddleboarding, kayaking and more.
  • A Wellness Wing dedicated to mental, emotional and social well-being, featuring: 
    • Counseling and consultation rooms.
    • The Rejuvenation Lab with infrared PEMF mats, nap pods and meditation swings.
    • An art therapy zone.
    • Telehealth booths.
    • A teaching kitchen and juice bar. 
  • A locker lounge and private suites with individual stalls and showers. 
  • Dye-free, fragrance-free and eco-conscious wellness products. 
  • Low-stimulation zones.
