Professional development, networking and continued learning are essential for success. Next week, HealthFitness will be hosting its University Summit at Emory University. The primary purpose of the University Summit is to bring together Campus Health, Wellness and Recreation professionals to discuss emerging trends, share ideas and strengthen the professional network.

At the Summit, Jessica Grossmeier, the vice president of research at the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO), will share new data on colleges and universities that aligns with HERO Scorecard results.

Throughout the Summit, participants will attend various other presentations covering best practices, including the following panel discussion: “Engaging Difficult Populations — A University Perspective” with:

Patricia Benson — Assistant Vice President, Health, Wellness and Disease Management at the University of Louisville

Timothy Mertz — Director of Recreation at Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Michael Staufacker — Director of Health Management at Emory University

The University Summit with be held Tuesday April 4th – Wednesday April 5th.
