Newest Trend in Water Sports: Key Log Rolling

The Newest Trend in Water Sports is coming to NIRSA! Key Log Rolling has taken the 125 year-old sport of log rolling and made it accessible to pools and waterfronts everywhere through the invention of a synthetic rolling log.

Log Rolling is a great activity to learn at any age. It improves core strength, balance, footwork, and cardio; and can be used for recreation, fitness or competition…but mostly it’s just fun!

The founders of Key Log Rolling, a family of world champion log rollers, realized that the sport was carrying too much weight – the equipment was too heavy – so they developed the Key Log, a portable, synthetic log rolling log. It weighs only 65 pounds, making it easy to transport and store. When filled with water, Key Log’s patented baffle system re-creates the density required to float, spin, and react just like a traditional log rolling log.

This family company has also made it easier to learn to log roll by creating the Key Log Trainers – resistance accessories that slow and stabilize the log.  These ‘training wheels’ can be added or removed to achieve four speeds.

Give it a spin at the Annual NIRSA Conference, April 5, 5:30-7:30pm.
