In this video, explore Gregory Gym at The University of Texas at Austin — one of seven Recreational Sports (RecSports) facilities. Opened in 1933, Gregory Gym has served generations of students, faculty and staff from the heart of campus.

The 250,000-square-foot facility’s three floors offer Longhorns a variety of ways to stay active, including 50,000 square feet of recreation space across two gyms and a track just on the top floor.

Gregory Gym also offers:

  • two indoor pools and an outdoor aquatics complex, including three pools.
  • a cycle studio featuring 20 bikes and over 20 classes a week.
  • a dedicated weight room and locker room for faculty and staff.
  • an immersive Peloton workout space with seven workout stations and access to live and on-demand classes.
  • a Full Swing 2.0 sport simulator.
  • a functional training hub featuring custom-built Escape racks.
  • the Nike Recovery Studio, equipped with compression therapy powered by Hyperice.
