In this video, tour the University of Illinois Chicago’s Student Recreation Facility — one of three centers in the Recreation and Well-being department. The goal of the department is to be a welcoming community, providing students with as many recreation options as possible for them to find the best fit.
The center features:
- an 18,000-square-foot fitness floor with upgraded strength equipment.
- an aquatics center featuring a lap and leisure pool, spa, sauna, and steam room.
- a four-court gymnasium.
- six group fitness studios, including an F45 studio.
- 43-foot rock climbing wall.
- a functional training room.
- an esports lab.
- a wellness lounge featuring massage therapy services, fitness testing and personal trainers.
